Performance and Mindset Coaching
Performance coaching for senior leaders and athletes who have reached the level where skill is no longer the bottleneck. What holds you back now lives inside you, not on your CV.
Who this is for
What makes this different
Most people who call themselves coaches give you their answer. They tell you what worked for them, or what they read in a book, and they package it as wisdom.
I do not give you answers. I help you find your own. Because the answer you discover yourself is the one you will actually use. The one someone else gives you is the one you nod at and forget.
I learned this on the pitch. You cannot referee for someone else. You cannot make the decision for the player under pressure. You can only build the conditions inside them so that when the moment arrives, they are ready for it.
That is what I bring to every coaching relationship. Not a framework. Not a methodology with a name. A genuine belief that you already have more than you think you have. My job is to help you access it.
"Getting people to find their answer empowers them into feeling stronger and more confident. Then they can actually practice their new mindset. That is the difference between a session that lasts a week and one that changes how you think."
How it works
Where this comes from
For almost a decade I have been coaching match officials for Football Australia, including the 2024 Australia Cup Final and the 2025 Australian Championship Grand Final. The work I do pitchside is performance and mindset coaching. I just never called it that.
I also co-founded RefCoach, a global referee coaching community that reached 5,000 members and delivered mindset performance workshops to over 10,000 referees worldwide in partnership with the Referees' Association of England.
In the tech world, I have led and rebuilt teams across startups and enterprise, always applying the same coaching philosophy. The Deakin University team I inherited had two people returning from stress leave and twelve months of leadership instability. Within six months they outperformed the entire university on engagement by 10%. That is not a process result. That is a people result.
I am currently working toward formal ICF accreditation through the Diploma of Life Coaching at The Life Coaching College, Melbourne. This is the direction I am heading. If you want to work with someone at the start of that journey rather than at the polished, packaged end of it, I am genuinely your person.
No pitch. No package. Just an honest conversation about where you are and whether I can help.
Melbourne based. Open to remote conversations globally.
